Michael Scragg

With a rich and varied background spanning education, finance, and military service, Michael brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our school community. Serving as Bursar & Clerk to the Governors at The Schools at Somerhill for over a decade before his retirement in 2019, Michael returned to the educational sector as a Consultant Bursar at South Lee Prep School and Nursery in 2021, subsequently joining the Board of Governors in 2023. Educated at St. Edward's, Oxford, and RMA Sandhurst, Michael’s career has included service in an infantry battalion, executive roles in finance, and directorships in pension management. His commitment to excellence and leadership make him an invaluable asset in guiding our school towards a future of continued success.
