During our weekly Enrichment afternoons, we have introduced an array of fresh subjects, thrilling experiences, and captivating opportunities to expand upon our standard curriculum. During these sessions, students engage in activities such as First Aid, Study Skills, Philosophy, Craft and Enterprise, Design Technology, Forest Schools, Music Makers, Swimming, and Classical Civilizations, among others. Additionally, this time allows students to partake in co-curricular activities, productions, field trips, and more, all without disrupting their regular academic schedule.

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of day and residential trips that pupils can participate in. Previous excursions have included:

Additionally, we host an Enrichment Day designed to acquaint pupils with activities outside the regular curriculum, thus enhancing their overall experiences and enjoyment of physical pursuits.

For instance, pupils have had the chance to engage in the following activities:

  • Dry slope skiing with qualified instructors

  • Playing at a golf driving range

  • Having a creative afternoon producing wonderful artwork

  • Sailing, kayaking and other water sports

Our huge sports centre, including a dance studio and tennis courts, enables the children to participate in many sports both as part of the school day and our extra-curricular programme. Managed by School’s Out, on behalf of South Lee, we also provide premium quality holiday camps for our own pupils and children from the local community.
