Year 8 - The Ageing Society.

As part of their STEM lessons, Year 8 have started their project on the Ageing Society.

Pupils have been exploring what life is like as an older person by using lollipop sticks in the fingers of their gloves to understand the difficulties of writing with arthritis. They also used ear defenders and masks to ask each other questions, to emulate the challenges older people face with their hearing.

The children were then set the task of devising a questionnaire to ask elderly friends and relatives as part of their primary research.
