Colour & Symmetry

This morning, the children in the Nursery have been exploring colour and symmetry!

The class read 'Mix It Up' by Herve Tullet together, imagining how colours can mix and splatter to create a rainbow of colours.

The children used their new knowledge to paint one side of a butterfly using primary colours and were amazed by the transformation into a bright piece of artwork!

By folding the paper, they had created a beautifully symmetric design. The children were astounded by the blend of red, yellow and blue, creating even more colours!
