Year 5 have been investigating the different methods of separating objects in Science this week.
Mrs Baker told the class how her two young children had made her breakfast over the weekend, but had mixed up all the cereal. Using their scientific knowledge, Year 5 had to devise a strategy in which the cereal could be separated.
Each group created a sieve to filter the larger cereals such as Cornflakes. They then discovered that using a balloon would pull the Rice Krispies out due to static.
It was a fantastic and creative lesson, thoroughly enjoyed by all!
