news archives Our Week in Early Years

What an end to a fabulous week and end of term in Early Years.

We have been collecting eggs for the Rainbow Ward at the West Suffolk Hospital. We have had an amazing amount of eggs donated to us. We are very grateful for all those of you that gave so generously.

We had our annual Easter bonnet parade where all our children made their own bonnets and showcased them to the families. The effort made was tremendous. Well done everyone.

The children in Reception watched the production of the Velveteen Rabbit. The children were mesmerised as they watched the story unfold of a young girls rabbit come to life.

We had a magical time at Nowton Park where the Easter Bunny made a surprise visit. The children were so excited to go on our minibuses and see what the bunny had left for them. The Reception children performed their Easter rhyme, and the Cygnets and Swans sang their Easter songs. They also did egg and spoon and running races. It was a fantastic morning.

We are celebrating in Early Years today. Our beautiful Amy is leaving to have her baby and the fabulous Mrs Gisbey is getting married.

The children enjoyed the celebrations and cake. We wish them both every happiness for their future.
