U13 Rugby

The U13 Rugby team played both Culford U12 B and Fram U12 B team today and won both matches 8-0 and 3-2. Harry Wells was man of the match for the first game and Ben Nevison for the second. Definitely the best rugby of the season. Well done boys!

U13 Girls Hockey

The U13 girls had a very successful afternoon of hockey at Culford School.

They began by beating Moreton Hall 4-0. Arabella Stockdale was on fire in front of goal, scoring all 4 from goalkeeper rebounds.

Culford provided more of a challenge with end to end play and some outstanding goalkeeping from Connie Kingston. South Lee took the lead in the first half with a fabulous shot to the top corner of the goal by Katie Rogers which was superbly saved by the Culford keeper only to find ‘goal hungry’ Arabella on the end of the save to slot it in the goal. Culford replied with a well taken team goal in second half. Both teams had further chances but the game finished 1-1 which was a fair result.

The final game against Glebe House remained at 1-1 for the majority of the game but 2 goals in quick succession secured the victory. Katie Rogers scored one and Isabel Burns scored two.

A very good afternoon of hockey for the U13 girls.
