We are proud to once again take part in Young Art East Anglia, a competition and
exhibition of children’s art for children aged 5 to 11 in East Anglia. This year’s theme was ‘Nature’s Delights’ and the children all worked really hard on their pieces. We were so impressed with their work and fortunately so were the team of judges, which included local artist Ania Hobson!
Out of more than 2000 entrants, around 350 paintings have been selected to be displayed at the Peter Pears Gallery in Aldeburgh from Friday March 9th – Sunday March 11th. Huge congratulations to the following pupils whose work has been chosen to be displayed. A special mention to Holly Hardingham whose painting was awarded a Highly Commended.
If you would like to see the work of our South Lee artists on display, the exhibition is open to the general public at the following times:
Friday March 9 from 1 to 5pm
Saturday March 10 from 12 noon to 5pm
Sunday, March 11 from 10am to 4.30pm
