This week the Cygnets children have been exploring the adventures of Christmas. They have been very busy writing Christmas cards and posting them in the post box. The children have decorated the tree beautifully, being very careful when attaching the baubles. They have even been helping Father Christmas and the elves to wrap up some presents and created some fabulous Christmas crafts.
The Cygnets have expressed lots of giggles whilst creating their surprise Christmas card that they will take home at the end of term. It involves painting their feet which they all found very tickly!
The Swans children’s classroom has evolved into Santa’s Grotto! The children have been very busy making important phone calls, writing letters and lists of what they would like to Father Christmas. They have decorated the Christmas tree with tinsel, baubles and have done some very careful wrapping of presents to go underneath.
On Friday the children received a special parcel in Nursery. Mrs Last opened it very carefully in front of all the children and inside was a very important letter from Father Christmas! The letter was read out to all the children explaining how he had sent an Elf called Cody, who was also inside the parcel, for South Lee Nursery to keep a close eye on all the children. The children have also been warned that sometimes Cody can get up to mischief himself, so they have to keep a careful look out for him too. Watch this space…
