Netball 2007

South Lee have had some superb netball teams throughout this term.

In particular, the Under 11 and Under 13 teams led us to great success, following through into the Nationals at Brighton in March.

Both teams played extremely well but unfortunately did not get placed in the final rounds.

However, we also have younger teams following in their footsteps, winning tournaments around the area.

Netball is a very strong sport at South Lee and most pupils enjoy it.

Tennis at South Lee

At U13 level, both boys and girls compete in a tennis league.

A squad of 6 is selected and 4 players compete in each match.

The team is ranked 1-4 and each player gets to play a set of doubles and a set of singles.

Two tennis captains are chosen for the season, one of each gender.

As in most sports, the school has a good reputation for tennis.

Most years, a group Year 8's get the opportunity to go to Wimbledon.
