After School Sports Clubs

Nearly every day in the school day there is a sport you can do after school. There are a number of sports. Here are some of them:

Some of these clubs have some sort of age limit. This is so there are not too many people at one club. But in, for instance, football, we have more teachers so we are split into groups there, such as:

Extra Clubs

There are a number of extra clubs, for example:

Calligraphy is a club with Mrs Almond where children can improve their hand writing.

Fiction Club is where year 7 and 8 can get advice on which books they should read and why they are good.

Latin is a chance for the pupils to learn Latin and to read it.

Environment club takes place in the garden behind South Lodge. Members of the club plant things and look after it .

Languages

At South Lee we have a number of languages available for pupils to learn. There is French, Spanish, Latin and Japanese.

A few years ago, Mr Begbie put a team of French pupils into a national competition. We did very well.

We have good websites for all the languages and very good computer programs.
