General Information

Entry

Children start full-time education at South Lee in the September after their fourth birthday and spend one academic year in each class.

Children may be entered for other year groups providing places are available.

The prospectus, which does not form a contract, should be read in conjunction with leaflets relating to financial terms and conditions, and the fee structure.

Lunch

Children attending school full-time are provided with lunch served in a family setting.

Good table manners and behaviour are encouraged

Lunches are nutritionally planned and balanced to take into account current recommendations. They are cooked at the school in a modern, hygienic kitchen.

There is also a provision for children attending Nursery on a part time basis.

Individual Development

Children are regularly assessed and if they are found to have particular educational needs they are given further support from specially qualified members of staff who work throughout the school.

Reports

Children’s progress is closely monitored and parents are kept informed via written reports and parents’ evenings. Staff welcome parents who wish to discuss their child’s education and welfare at any time during the academic year.
