We are extremely proud of our Y8 pupils who have all passed the Common Entrance exams and earned a place in their first choice Senior School.
In September this year these pupils will be starting on the next stage of their education, having gained a place at some of the top secondary schools, including The Perse, Stephen Perse Foundation, The Leys, Royal Hospital School, Framlingham and Culford. Not only did they achieve excellent grades, a number of these came with scholarships and exhibitions in subjects such as Music, Drama and Sport as well as Academic Scholarships.
Headmaster Mervyn Watch says: “I am delighted that once again South Lee has achieved a 100% success in achieving pupils first choice school. The preparation for these exams starts in Year 6, so these results mark the culmination of 2 and a half years’ work. We are very proud of our record in this area and I am positive that South Lee will continue to maintain these results in the future and its reputation in the region for providing a first class, all-round education.”
We wish them all the very best of luck!
